Keyboard Shortcuts

Trading Terminal has a small set of keyboard shortcuts. Most day-to-day actions (placing orders, adjusting stops, switching accounts) are done with the mouse — these bindings cover the few places where a key is faster.

Journal & panels

Shortcut	Action
Ctrl / Cmd + W	Close the currently focused trading-journal chart tab.
Escape	Close or cancel the active dialog, panel, or inline editor — including a focused journal tab, an open table row, and the profile-edit field.

Chart

Zoom and pan come from the embedded charting widget rather than the terminal itself:

Shortcut	Action
+ / -	Zoom the chart in / out.
Scroll	Pan / zoom the chart.

Note

These chart controls are provided by the charting library and behave the same as they do in that widget elsewhere.
